Partnering with the best organizations to bring the flawless festival experience
This year, for the third time in a row, Serbian Tech was one of the proud partner organizations of the Smart City Festival which was held in Belexpo Center. As it is officially finished, we are happy to share our impressions with you.
Smart City Festival is the conference that gathers key stakeholders, organizations, companies, startups, entrepreneurs, citizens, and consumers from the field of urban innovation, IoT, green energy and climate. As devoted promoters of the Serbian IT ecosystem, we were in charge of connecting people, companies and startups all day long.
What is the SmartCity festival all about?
Traditionally, the day was filled with talks, panel discussions, workshops, and networking. Conference participants had the opportunity to learn more about the importance of open data. How digital transformation and innovations can improve urban and rural life. And what are the best practices that could be implemented.
The conference was open to the public and approximately 600 people were in attendance. On top of that, 140 children participated in STEM early education. They got the opportunity to learn about robotics, programming, entrepreneurship and all the innovative ways of learning and education.
For the end of this year, we want to acknowledge Belexpocentar, who provided us with amazing space, and all our partners and sponsors without who this wouldn’t be possible.

They know how to deal with it. We appreciate sharing their ideas and solutions with us on Smart City Festival and can’t wait to start using it in our own city.
EXOR ETI proved that tech is applicable in all fields in our lives. They are a distributor of software and hardware from the world’s leading manufacturers for use in industrial automation, energy, transportation, and construction. They are not just a distributor, they provide technical support, advisory and education about their products. At Smart City Festival 2019 they presented Zenon, which is a process control system and also Real Wear, hands-free gadget, specialized for construction workers, to provide them assistance, support, and navigation in real-time. Once again, thank you for your participation in the expo area and we hope to see you again next year.
E-PRIME offers us great options to avoid jams by providing us with e-bikes and also trailers for delivery. We had the opportunity to ride in a rickshaw during the Smart City Festival and we felt like tourists. So grateful that you were part of our expo area during the festival. See you next year.

During Smart City Festival they taught us to see light differently, how to play with colors, contrasts and all of that with our smartphones. TOYOTA, a leader for the last 20 years in the field of hybrid cars. The magic of a hybrid vehicle is that it uses power from two sources – in Toyota’s case, it is a gasoline and electric engine. Hybrid cars are less polluting, and with lower charges and lower fuel costs, you will save on them. On Smart City Festival, Toyota presented us in the expo area of their amazing vehicles RAV4, Corolla Touring Sports and Camry Hybrid. You can arrange a free ride and try them. Toyota is dedicated to its Environment Challenge 2050, where the aim is to develop vehicles that have the lowest possible impact on the natural world around us.
