5 questions for… Nevena Stanisavljevic

Nevena Stanisavljević is the founder of the HR World organization that started the Serbian HR Community.

For the last 15 years: she was the director of a hotel, ran the training center of a Danish organization, and was the marketing director of the State Lottery of Serbia. However, entrepreneurship is her true love, and since 2010 she has had her training and development agency, and last few years, a Coaching Hub that aims to strengthen the coaching culture in the region. Since 2017, she has been working on the development of the HR community. While working on development projects, she was familiar with her problems and what bothered HR – bothered her and other coaches and HR consultants. She wanted to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. That was how HR World started, and a year and a half later, the Serbian HR Community, which has the support of over 100 companies and goes to 1000 members.

 They launched the HR week project, held in 2019 for the first time in Kombank Hall. It lasted five days and numbered 25 world speakers, 1000 participants, and more than 50 vendors.

In 2020, these five days were online. Over 150 speakers, 2,000 participants, 100 vendors, and more than 20 sponsors joined this event.

This year, the project lead is announced by organizers for the last week of November in an enhanced virtual environment. They will also add personalization and gamification. Due to the unchanged quality, they expect an enormous number of participants.

There is also HR World magazine which collects a large number of authorial texts – of the eminent regional and world HR experts. It deals with the most current topics within the HR profession, brings innovations and trends in HR.

The third cover of this magazine is hand-painted in 100 copies. The theme was the purpose, and the principal motif was the Little Prince. Nobody believed that it was possible to do this because of the situation we are in due to the Coronavirus, but Nevena, with a strong desire, a little luck, and a lot of goodwill, managed to achieve this goal as well. The artists who helped in the realization are members of the Kriva association.

In her free time, she likes to walk in nature, calm her energy and gather new ideas.
